The tool extracts the text from each page, translates it and generates a new PDF with the translated text, or with the original and translation side by side for comparison.
Important: unlike the other tools, translation sends the text to the free MyMemory service. We'll ask for your permission first. Don't use it with confidential documents.
How to translate a PDF, step by step

Choose the languages and format, and agree to send the text to the translation service.

Frequently asked questions
Is the original layout kept?
No. A new PDF is generated with the text only; tables, images and formatting are not kept.
Is there a limit?
The free translation service has a daily character limit. If it's reached, we'll let you know.
Is it a certified translation?
No. It's a machine translation. Official procedures require a certified translator.
